what the codes on your fruits and veggies really mean - 4 numbers mean they were conventionally grown, 5 numbers starting with number 8 means they are genetically modified (gmo), and 5 numbers starting with 9 means they were organically grown (no pesticides or gmos)
everyone should already know this information, but if not here it is!

Nike+ FuelBand Giveaway
I just received the Nike+ FuelBand in the mail from my friend. I already have the Nike+ SportWatch and don’t really need the FuelBand so I thought I would do a giveaway considering that it’s been sold out for awhile.

An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind.
There is always one person you love who becomes that definition. It usually happens retrospectively, but it happens eventually. This is the person who unknowingly sets the template for what you will always love about other people, even if some of these loveable qualities are self-destructive and unreasonable. The person who defines your understanding of love is not inherently different than anyone else, and they’re often just the person you happen to meet the first time you really, really, want to love someone. But that person still wins. They win, and you lose. Because for the rest of your life, they will control how you feel about everyone else.
I think one of the saddest things in life is watching someone you used to love become someone you hate. Someone you no longer recognize. Someone who becomes everything they promised they wouldn’t be. I think it makes you hold on just a little harder to that person they used to be and the memories you shared. And makes you wish, much harder than you thought you ever would, that the person you knew and loved would walk through that door again some day. No matter how much time has passed, I think we’ll always miss that.
When you start to know someone, all their physical characteristics start to disappear. You begin to dwell in their energy, recognize the scent of their skin. You see only the essence of the person, not the shell. That’s why you can’t fall in love with beauty. You can lust after it, be infatuated by it, want to own it. You can love it with your eyes and your body but not your heart. And that’s why, when you really connect with a person’s inner self, any physical imperfections disappear, become irrelevant.
